Seojin woke up to another day of nothing. The same emptiness she'd grown used to. The dim light of the sky barely filtered thru the dusty windows of her crappy apartment. Bills cluttered the table. It was the same as every other day.
But today..something was different. Maybe it was the extra change she had earned from her boring job, but it wasn't that. As she stepped out on the street, feeling the warmth of the sun, for the first time she felt that feeling that she could push through and leave her boring life. Hope. She tried to shake off the odd feeling while she walked to work. It was a normal day at the convenience store, until it wasn't. After work, she was walking back home as usual, some hope in her heart until a car came racing towards her, the only thing she saw was flashing light from the car. She didn't have time to react before everything went black.

"Everything's going to be okay," was the last thing she thought as the world faded away..
