Juniper Hale thought finding her soulmate would be the beginning of her happily ever after. She never expected it to become her greatest moral test.

Brilliant, driven, and desperately seeking belonging, June is instantly drawn to gentle craftsman Caleb-until she discovers he's a werewolf and she's his destined mate.

As she struggles to prove worthy of his supernatural world, her groundbreaking medical research takes a dark turn. The tissue samples fueling her career breakthrough might be connected to the pack members who keep vanishing without a trace.

Now June faces an impossible choice: expose the horrifying truth and lose everything she's worked for, or stay silent and betray the people who've welcomed her as family.

With pack tensions reaching a breaking point and her relationship with Caleb deepening, June must decide who she really is-the ambitious scientist willing to sacrifice anything for success, or the woman who chooses love over ambition.

"Ensure they cannot touch what belongs to me again," he commanded, his voice firm and authoritative. His beta nodded, taking a step back and bowing his head. "Yes, Alpha King." The gravity of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks - they were talking about my friends. A wave of panic washed over me as I realized my little drama to piss him off had put them in danger. Now, I had to act fast to prevent disaster. I couldn't let my recklessness hurt the people I care about. I tugged on Alarico's coat sleeve, and he turned to face me. Our eyes locked, and for the first time, I felt genuine fear. My voice barely above a whisper, I said, "Noooo." Alarico's gaze narrowed, and he raised an eyebrow, as if granting me permission to speak. I swallowed hard and tried to find my voice. "D-Don't hurt them." My words were laced with desperation, and Alarico's expression softened slightly. He tilted my face toward his beta and said, "Order them." I hesitated, unsure of what he meant. Was he testing me? But Alarico's gaze remained steady, his voice low and commanding. "Say it," he urged. With tears welling up in my eyes, I spoke, my voice shaking with rage and fear. "I, Mario Cassano, order you to revoke your alpha's previous order and not to lay a finger on my friends." The words felt like acid on my tongue, but I knew I had to protect my friends. As I finished speaking, Alarico's men dropped to their knees, their heads bowed in unison. I stumbled backward, startled by their sudden action. "Your wish is our command, Queen Luna," they chanted in perfect harmony. The title "Queen Luna" sent shivers down my spine. What did it mean? And why did Alarico's men respond to me with such reverence? I looked up at Alarico, searching for answers, but his expression remained enigmatic.

Legend of the Torchbearer - Book One Most children are lulled to sleep by softly sung lullabies or the sound of snoring family members, I fell asleep to the roar of dragon-song thundering through the mountain known as Beinn Na Nathrach; named for the creatures who first made it their home. Dragons roamed the world long before men, and at their height, nobody could have foreseen their downfall. Now Beinn Na Nathrach is the last nest, and the riders of Dùn Ceò - the ancient fortress carved into the mountainside - are the crumbling remnants of a once noble and powerful sept of armies the world over. As an orphan brought up within the walls of a dragon keep, following orders and watching the riders train is as close as I'll ever get to joining their ranks. Life for me is laid out as a servant, with my place secure as the ward of one of the commanders. I can see it ahead of me; the years of mucking out stables, fetching food, mending clothes and equipment, when all my heart aches for is to know how it feels to see wings stretched out either side of me. Yet the monotony of life is shaken when a hatchling is found in the forest, and rumours of rebellion in the most Northern villages begin to spring up. But why would a few unruly farmers require an entire contingent of well-armed soldiers who seem overly interested in the goings on in Dùn Ceò? If the hatchling didn't come from the last known nest, where did he come from? And what does it have to do with a legend told as a bed time story?
