In this fantasy-horror epic, a toymaker and his hunchback companion explore a nightmarish gothic landscape in search of a lost magic artifact that is said to have the ability to bring the dead back to life. Unbeknownst to them, a powerful dark lord is also in search of this artifact in order to harness its power for his own purpose.

I'm a screenwriter who has never written a novel/novella or anything in narrative fiction before, so go easy on me. I'm not even sure if this is any good but I thought I'd post chapters as I finish rough drafts of them to see if people even enjoy reading it or not. Anyway, here it is! Hopefully it's not total bullshit. This is my first stab at this sort of thing so I'll only continue posting chapters if and when anyone expresses interest in reading more.
