I hear the knell of the bell- Ominous. Warning. Chilling- beckoning lost souls- Melancholic. Menacing- a solemn monotonous reminder of time long past. Of another future waning into existence back into the arms of the abyss.

How many times has it been? How many times have I relieved the same life?- over and over again, like a broken vinyl record stuck on that one particular irritating cacophony.

How many times have I seen those stabbing gazes that look at me as if I am worse than a disgusting curse?- an unholy thing that should never have existed.

How much more covering of my eyes, ears, and mouth must I repeat?- A show of how grateful I am for their mercy and grace that they have let me live.

Can I do this one more time for the sake of those precious to me in the future that I know so well?

My fingers slid down his frangible ribs, subconsciously counting each one. I stared upon his scrawny figure. My hatred had quickly turned into guilt and embarrassment. The taste of my salty tears filled the corners of my lips; I had really been standing here for twenty minutes now. The path that lead me to this destination was unquestionably not a pleasing one. ♥️♣️♦️♠️♥️♣️♦️♠️ 🏰 Adelaide is forced to marry the prince from her neighbouring kingdom of Arcania... at least, that's what the prophecy of the envelope determines. 【 ꜰᴏʀᴍᴇʀ ʏᴀɴᴅᴇʀᴇ! ꜰ. ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ x ᴍ!ʏᴀɴᴅᴇʀᴇ 】 This world has never felt real to you, especially when you found yourself obsessed with a certain boy in your class. It doesn't help that you felt some kind of force whispering to you to kill him in order to prove your love. So, you did. Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?
