Bailey Cooper was stuck in the one place she thought was hell, Split River High. After her senior year was cut short Bailey learns she is not alone in the afterlife, being stuck with a bunch of dead people in your high school was not fun, but one thing made it tolerable. When Bailey developed feelings for a 50 year old ghost. She believed that life was better being dead because that meant she could be with him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She had his attention for years, although neither of them acted on their feelings. Everyone knew they were there. When a new ghost named Maddie shows up will Bailey let jealous kill her a second time. As Maddie takes all his attention.

gemma farlie (far-lie) is a 17 year old at split river high school and she only has a handful of goals. 1. to be high all the time. 2. to graduate high school and get out of this town. 3. to not kill her younger brothers. during a crowded situation at a homecoming prep rally. gemma gets killed right next to the school bleachers and has to live in the after life in her own worst nightmare,high school. at first she doesn't want to accept that shes dead, but eventually wally clark pulls her out and gets her to enjoy her after-life. between that and still trying to keep an eye on her younger brothers she deals with death and coming to terms with it.
