(Y/N) never expected her job at a small coffee shop to lead to anything extraordinary-until a certain skeleton with boundless energy walked through the door. One simple act of kindness pulls her into the world of monsters, a close-knit group still adjusting to life on the surface after being freed from the Underground. Nervous yet intrigued, she soon finds herself welcomed into their home, bonding over game nights, shared stories, and unexpected friendships.

But not everyone is so quick to let her in. Sans, the ever-relaxed, sharp-witted skeleton, keeps his distance, watching her with an unreadable grin. He claims humans aren't worth the trouble, yet there's something about (Y/N) that seems to amuse him-something that keeps him lingering just a little longer each time they meet. As she grows closer to her new friends, she begins to notice the subtle weight behind Sans' jokes, the way his smiles don't always reach his eyes.

Between coffee cups and quiet moments, (Y/N) realizes that there's more to monster souls than she ever imagined-and more to the feelings stirring in her own heart. Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it.
