Reese Russo is a 15-year-old girl who lives in Queens, New York, where she attends Midtown Tech High School, spending most of her days doing homework, reading, and hanging out with her three closest friends. Her nights, however, are much different- they consist of running around the city she had grown up in, fighting crime as she does her best to keep her identity a secret from those around her. She's a solo crime fighter- or, she used to be. Spider-Man, the second crime-fighting vigilante who patrolled the streets of New York, has quickly become the person she fights alongside, the reason for this outcome being the discovery that the human Arachanid was a close acquaintance of Reese; Peter Parker. Through their struggles of fighting crime, the two become as close as ever, their friendship eventually morphing into something more.
