They were never friends. They were never supposed to be anything more.

Minal Ahmed and Saad Malik had nothing in common except a mutual dislike that had been brewing since school. He was arrogant and infuriating; she was indifferent and distant. They never spoke unless they had to, and when they did, it always ended in an argument.

But life had other plans.
