Seventeen Badges of Moonlight

*Moonlight on the Seventeenth Fret* follows guqin prodigy Evelyn Jiang and Japanese-American mechatronics heir Steven Kuroda-Hawthorne at a New York prep school. When her Tang-dynasty zither collides with his tea ceremony tools, and his chasen-shaped watch captures her 0.03% cardiac variance, two souls torn between Eastern tradition and Western innovation begin to harmonize. Through truth-detecting helix pierces, quantum-entangled tea-house constellations, and transcontinental friends' literary algorithms, they decode century-old familial legacies with zither strings and matcha whisks, composing a coming-of-age symphony that dances between Kyoto's cherry blossoms and MIT's robotic arms.
