The fateful day comes when the boys both happen to be at a mythological summer camp for demigods--which both boys happen to be. But with threats of war, death, and destruction on the rise, they must face their true reality: their lives and love are destined for tragedy.

It is only through working together that they will be able to return home. Some things will be different, for instance, Percy has never met Achilles.
