Amelia wasn't under any misappropriation that she was a part of a romance novel but she was happy, they were happy. Or so she thought until she walks in on her boyfriend of 6 years screwing a stranger. His instant regret and reassurance that it was just this once and he was filled with regret fall on deaf ears as Amelia decides to see what she's been missing.

Kyhal loves Amelia, but after 6 years together things feel a bit stale and he starts to wonder if he's in love with her and not just used to her. So he makes a terrible mistake and invites over another woman and things get out of hand. Now he's in the fight of his life to prove to the woman that he loves that he's worth giving another chance. "He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. Not before her world comes blazing down, the final battle on the horizon. Tick, tock, Amelia. You don't want to be late to the party when you're the guest of honour. COMPLETED 06/11/20

For Alice, With Love

41 parts Complete Mature

Free to Read with Exclusive bonus content! - Amelia Harris never expected she'd have to share a roof with Chris Smith. Ever. When she took over managing the Smith Estate for his mother, he'd still been happily married in the city, far away from Mel and her long-broken heart. It had been ten years since Alice had died and they had kissed on his balcony, at her funeral. But here he was. As handsome and sexy as ever, acting like a class-A jerk, making a mess wherever he went. Freshly divorced and dealing with the fallout poorly, he's nothing like the boy she knew, his attitude and disregard for her creating havoc in the house. Before long, tempers flare all around. Alice had said in a letter to her brother that the two of them would need each other. She had needed Chris, that was true... But he hadn't been there. He'd left after the funeral; never calling or answering any of the angsty, grief-filled letters she'd sent him. Could they bury the hurt from the past and become close, like they were before Alice died? Was it still true that they needed one another? Or was it too late? * "For Alice, With Love" is a contemporary love story about betrayal, healing, and coming home to what you really needed all along, and is my first novel.
