Your father needed someone on the inside and Draco wasn't doing the job. I couldn't help but smile at Snape anytime I see him he doesn't know who I am only that my father is a very powerful wizard but he doesn't know it ... Voldemort.... I constantly flirt with Snape trying to see what he likes but he never cracks until one day I push it and ask for his help after class.
