But why JUST her? What's so special about her that her mother didn't survive this time? What happens when Shane's world is shattered by her evil older step brother? Will she survive just barely as a normal person or will something even more sinister awaken inside of her? Will things ever be normal for this girl who's never known what normal was in the first place?
