Cold. Damp. The air reeked of rust and decay. My wrists throbbed, bound so tight the rope cut into my flesh. My breaths came in shallow gasps, the silence stretching-too still, too unnatural.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

A slow, wet sound echoed around me. The dim light flickered, casting eerie shadows across the floor. My stomach twisted as a thick, dark puddle crept toward my bare feet.

Something wasn't right.

The air felt heavier. The walls seemed to pulse, suffocating, pressing in. And then-

The light flashed once.
