Kush's breathing grew uneven as he turned back toward the glowing computer screen. The pictures of him and MM stared back at him, each one deepening his confusion. How is this possible? he thought. His mind raced, trying to grasp some logical explanation.

"MM!" he called out again, louder this time. The silence of the lab was suffocating. He ran to the exit and looked around, but the streets outside were just as empty as before.

Something wasn't right. MM never left without saying something. He was always calm, always in control. This sudden disappearance-it wasn't like him.
Kush clenched his fists. "I need to find him."

He turned back to the computer, hoping to find more clues. Scrolling through the files, he noticed something odd-one of the images had a date. It wasn't from the past. It was from tomorrow.

His stomach twisted. What does this mean? Was it an error? Or was there something deeper happening here?
