Constantine was tasked to manage the property of her late great aunt Marta. When she expected to find nothing more than old furniture and echoing silence, she found and old book-and a story of an old tragic love written on its margins. As Constantine reads each page and note, her own life, which she held on in tight control, begins to unravel: betrayal, broken trust, passings, and loneliness trying to swallow her whole. Between the spaces left behind by a broken heart, would she still be able to believe in a promise of happiness? Across generations, two stories of love begin to intertwine: one a hidden history forgotten by time, one rebuilding on its broken pieces. This is a story of discovery, of rediscovery, of healing, and connection. And that love, be it past or present, has a way to change one's life in the smallest of ways. *Note: This is a slow burn story with LGBTQ themes, even though it was not directly stated. Updates will be SUPER sporadic, but I'll try to post every chapters I've finished.

When something tragic happens it's often said we lose a piece of ourselves. How far would you go to find these lost parts of yourself in order to be whole again? **This book is for the Open Novella Contest 2020. Welp, we made it onto the longlist, which is like getting the bronze award. Not too bad for a first draft and a first time. I'd like to edit and release a print edition of this book soon. Any feedback is appreciated.
