If you happen to read my last ongoing novel, In a Daughter's Eyes (now deleted) this might feel somewhat familiar. I have come to terms with the fact that I can no longer finish writing a full-length novel. And appease with the idea of just writing essays, poems, and short stories for now.

I love the beginnings of stories. Whether it be a book or a movie, I enjoy the opening scenes the most. Because they hold all the promises of what is to come; unburdened by commitment or baggage. Beginnings are full of hope. This story is an exception. Because the beginning of it is a sad one. It's the ending, however, that makes this story worthwhile. It's been several years since these events occurred and I have spent the majority of that time contemplating how best to share this story. Why? Because stories are important and everyone has one.
