Luckily he was taken in off the streets by a strange, yet kind man named Merle Dixon, he was kind enough to help with Klaus's addictions, even when finding out Klaus was as straight as a circle, he had helped him. While it was a struggle dealing with Klaus's Alcohol and Drug addiction, along with his PTSD, Memory loss and Health anxiety, he was able to power through, thanks to the help of his younger brother, Daryl, who seemed to grow soft around Klaus.

But how will they be able to help Klaus when the world ends? How can they help someone so terrified of the dead and the germs they carry??
