"You're mine." He whispered near my ear, sending a shiver racing down my spine. I fought to maintain my composure, holding his gaze defiantly.

"Yes, I am your sibling," I replied, but I could see the tension in his jaw as he took a deep breath.

"Step. Step-sibling, little lioness," he murmured, his lips brushing dangerously close to mine. I felt a wave of heat wash over me, my body responding to the intensity of his words.
