In a world of myth and magic, two demigods-Asmodeus, the son of Ares, and Thaddeus, the son of Apollo-are bound by fate, blood, and friendship. Their abilities are unmatched, and their reputation as warriors precedes them. Asmodeus is a fierce and cunning strategist, with the blood of war coursing through his veins, while Thaddeus possesses the gift of foresight, a power that allows him to glimpse into the future and guide their battles.
The two men serve under the gods of Mount Olympus, but when Asmodeus is seduced by the promises of power from the dark goddess Nyx, he begins to question the gods' motives. Thaddeus, always loyal to Apollo and the Olympian order, senses a growing divide between them but remains blind to Asmodeus's ambitions.
The turning point comes when Asmodeus makes a forbidden pact with Nyx, intending to usurp Ares' position as the god of war. In return for his loyalty, Nyx promises him unrivaled power and a seat among the gods. To cement the deal, Asmodeus must betray Thaddeus and Apollo.
The betrayal is swift and brutal. Asmodeus tricks Thaddeus into a deadly trap, luring him into an ambush orchestrated by the Furies. Thaddeus is gravely wounded but manages to survive, though broken and filled with rage. Asmodeus, now an agent of darkness, revels in his newfound power as the gods of Olympus turn a blind eye, their interests serving only the balance of power.
