Marinette has finally snapped. She lasted through Lila's lies, Akuma attacks, her friend's turning against her, and physical and emotional abuse, keeping on a cheery persona while dying on the inside. But this is her breaking point. Adrien has told her to "take the high road" and that "Lila's lies weren't hurting anyone", even though they were hurting her, mentally, emotionally, and physically and he knew that, so she was done. Done hiding her feelings. Done making herself small. Done with those who don't appreciate her.

Marinette's ex friends started to bully her and hurt her while Adrien didn't do anything to stop Lila from ruining her life in which the love for Adrien died out because Marinette sees for what he truly is and that is a spineless coward who doesn't do anything but take the liar's side instead. But everything was going to change when someone new arrived who shares some similarities to the Agreste and he will not be like the others who fall for the liar but instead will help Marinette with her problems as well as finding a new love interest because the new guy is very compassionate and kind as well as smart.
