The Keeper of Souls

The story follows Raghav, a once-brave warrior cursed to live forever by a jealous king, trapped in a cycle of immortality and loneliness due to a magical amulet. For centuries, Raghav wanders the earth, witnessing the rise and fall of kingdoms, but he is unable to form lasting connections. According to an ancient legend, only the Guardian of Souls, a woman destined to break his curse, could free him.
Meera, a young woman with the gift to hear the voices of spirits, is unknowingly connected to Raghav's fate. When she meets him in a forest, an instant bond forms between them. Over time, she learns that only she can break the curse by removing the amulet from Raghav's chest. However, doing so comes with a heavy price: by removing the amulet, Meera would inherit the responsibility of the Guardian of Souls, living forever, just as Raghav does.
Torn between her love for Raghav and the fear of losing her own life, Meera struggles with the decision. But Raghav, seeing her pain, makes the ultimate sacrifice and removes the amulet himself, willing to fade into the spirit world so she can live a normal life. As Raghav disappears into light, he leaves behind a message of eternal love.
In the end, Meera becomes the new Guardian of Souls, continuing her role to help both the living and the dead.
