Either Way, What Bliss

Emmy is a fierce, determined registered nurse, living in Dallas, Texas, who loves her
friends that have become family, but has closed herself off from dating. She's been
focused on getting her mom through cancer and chemotherapy, not her love life. But
when Holden confesses to the friend group, minus Emmy, that he has feelings for her,
they are determined to get her to let down her guard. There's just one problem: Holden
has been Emmy's nemesis for five years. She loathes his cocky attitude, his smart-ass
remarks, and that god-forsaken smile. She won't forgive him for the things he's said in
the past, but he's determined to get her to change her mind.

When Holden and Emmy's friends devise a plan to get them to match at the annual
Halloween party, they're convinced it will help get Emmy to see a different side of
Holden. The only problem? Emmy has no idea. "Will they or won't they" will be the
