In a world where wizards are real, young Nicole Chamberlin finds herself in a world of trouble. Soon after meeting a two-headed, talking dog by the name of Sinthos, she discovers that the city she once called home is threatened by several different groups of wizards, and it's just not the city. It's the whole Spiral that's in danger. Not to mention the wizard Ambrose had just come in with a new prophecy that could change everything. Things aren't looking good, but everyone should know that sometimes disaster leads up to a miracle.
