Muted Serendipity

"Kings, when they invade a land, they ruin it and render the honor of its people humbled." That word sears into my memory. A voice that has long disappeared, sweetly creeping back, faint and distant. Words that ring true across the universe.

My world was once a canvas of wonder, where sunshine beams on a green landscape and rainbows decorate the sky. His world, however, was painted with the crimson hues of blood and draped in the ashen cloak of despair.

I had seen the world through a beautiful colored glass. I failed to grasp the rift that separated us, oblivious to the fact that while we stood on the same land, our feet tread upon different paths. Beneath the same expansive sky, our gazes had locked in opposing directions. Breathing the same air, and yet... I hadn't noticed it sooner.

Up above, I found a serene and familiar landscape, in a different realm, bridged by the unknown. While he, down below, navigated a harsh reality. Worlds apart. But destiny united us.

His dark hair is like the midnight sky. His bright eyes rival the radiance of the rays. His complexion, kissed by the sun itself. His freckles are like the stars that adorn the firmament. Amidst these, his round ears stand as a reminder of our inherent differences - he, a child of humanity, and I, a descendant of the elves.

He is a sorcerer with his words, weaving phrases that entrap my very soul. He's bewitching me in love so deep and profound. He invades my heart without any sword. And yet...
