Daniel Grey has spent his life in the shadows, hiding a secret even he doesn't fully understand-he ages at a fraction of the normal rate. At seventy-nine, he still looks like he's in his thirties. He doesn't know why. He only knows that if the wrong people find out, he's in danger. In the 22nd century, that danger finally catches up to him. Ambushed and forced into stasis, Daniel awakens three hundred years later aboard the Regulus, a cargo ship traveling through the Outer Colonial Territories. At first, he believes he's finally free-humanity has expanded across the solar system, offering countless places to disappear. But the solar system isn't as big as he thought. Someone is still hunting him. And he's not the only one with secrets. Maria Cabanez, the Regulus's security officer, is working undercover. Sent by the Outer Colonial Security Forces, her mission is to uncover evidence that the ship's captain is smuggling weapons to a radical faction. But Daniel's sudden arrival-and his evasive answers-have her asking new questions. As hidden agendas collide, Daniel must unravel the mystery of who put him in stasis, who is still after him, and what it all means for his future. Because someone knows the truth about him-and they're getting closer. A gripping sci-fi mystery filled with tension, discovery, and danger, The Sleeper is a story of survival, identity, and the search for truth in a vast and unforgiving universe. -------------------------------------------- I've been working on The Sleeper for many years. While I've lost time along the way, this past year has been my most productive, and the story is finally taking shape as a true novel. This is my third draft, and as a slow, detail-focused writer, I appreciate your patience. I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions-thanks for reading!

HIGHEST RANKING: 303 IN SCIENCE FICTION Isaac Crowley is your average 15 year old boy. He is a sophomore in high school, plays sports, and hangs out with his friends. Everything in his life is in control, and he knows that he has a bright future ahead. Then the dreams start happening. His best friend Lucy gets hit by a car. He dreams it, and then, it happens again two days later. He tells his parents, his friends, anyone that he can, but they all think that it's just a coincidence. These dreams begin to happen regularly, and the mounting suspense drives Isaac crazy as he tries to diffuse the situation inside his dreams, find someone that he can trust, and prove to his parents that something's wrong. But he spirals further and further down the rabbit hole, and creates a web of lies.
