In a dystopian future where Earth's resources have been depleted, the world's last city is protected by a magical barrier known as Solace, which also prevents people from aging. Life inside the city is perfect, but the barrier is deteriorating, and soon everything outside it will seep in. The inhabitants live in blissful ignorance of the outside world, but one young woman, Elyse, begins hearing whispers-echoes of memories from a world long lost. She starts uncovering secrets of the city's past, including a hidden love story between two scientists who created the barrier, and a plan to save the world that was abandoned years ago.

As Elyse digs deeper, she uncovers more than she ever bargained for. The echoes she hears aren't just memories-they're the voices of people who lived before the barrier was erected. Some of them want to help her, while others want to stop her from discovering the truth.

Whisper of Sands by tamimiqbal10
1 part Complete
In the heart of a harsh desert lies an oasis protected by the Jakari and Sandwalkers, two tribes divided by tradition. When a hidden city awakens, threatening to unleash its destructive power, Amira, a Jakari warrior, and Liara, a Sandwalker scholar, must forge an unlikely alliance. Their perilous journey into the city's ruins reveals a forgotten past and the key to controlling the power source. By deciphering ancient rituals and learning to communicate with the desert's energy, they establish a fragile peace. Years later, new whispers emerge from the forgotten canyons, hinting at another slumbering force. Amira and Liara lead a new expedition, encountering a colossal creature, a protector of a dormant power source disrupted by their ancestors. Through understanding and diplomacy, they restore the balance and solidify their role as guardians of the desert. Generations pass, and the once-small oasis blossoms into a thriving city-state, Whisperwind. The current Keeper of Whispers, Elara, grapples with a new challenge - whispers emanating from a vast, unknown desert beyond their borders. These whispers, unlike the familiar warmth of the desert, are cold and metallic, a desperate plea from a dying civilization. Through tireless research and a newfound understanding of the whispers, they discover a way to offer aid, bridging the energy signature of the dying civilization with their own spring. The whispers fade, replaced by a comforting silence. Whisperwind stands as a testament to the power of communication and the delicate balance between humanity and the unknown. The Jakari and Sandwalkers, now united as the Keepers of Whispers, face a future where they are not just protectors of their own desert, but guardians of a universe teeming with the potential for both destruction and understanding.

In a world where the future isn't written but echoed, 17-year-old Lila hears the whispers of events yet to happen - but they're not hers. The echo she's been hearing for months is someone else's life, someone's fate, and that someone is in danger. As she tries to uncover the identity of the person behind the mysterious echoes, Lila finds herself caught in a web of secrets, shadowy figures, and a powerful organization that will do anything to keep their plans hidden. Can she stop what's coming before it's too late, or will the echoes become her own fate? First Chapter (Excerpt): I've always heard things. It started when I was younger - whispers of something I couldn't see, couldn't understand. At first, it was just faint sounds, like voices drifting from another world. But by the time I was sixteen, those whispers turned into something more - echoes. Clear, distinct, and impossible to ignore. It's strange. Most people think the future is something that hasn't happened yet. But for me, it's not that simple. I hear the future. The thing is, the future I hear isn't mine. I've been hearing her - a girl I don't know, yet know everything about. Her life, her fears, her pain. I can't explain how, but I hear her voice every night, calling out for help. I don't know her name. I don't know her face. All I know is that something horrible is coming for her. And if I can't stop it... then her fate might echo into mine. Tonight, I hear her again. The echo sharpens, clearer than ever before. "Help me, Lila. It's happening. They're coming." The echo fades. And just like that, I'm left with a choice - follow the voice, or ignore it and risk the consequences. I don't know why it's me she's calling to, but I can't just do nothing. I owe it to her. And to myself.

33 parts Complete

I woke up in a world that shouldn't exist. And in a body that isn't mine. The city around me is in ruins-silent streets, broken buildings, a sky that no longer remembers the sun. I don't know how I got here. I don't know who I am. My memories slip through my fingers like sand, leaving behind only fragments-whispers of a promise I can't remember making. But something is wrong. The world feels... stuck, repeating itself like a broken record. Shadows move where they shouldn't. Time bends in ways I can't explain. And the deeper I search for answers, the clearer it becomes-this isn't just about me. There's something out there, buried in the loops of time. Watching. Waiting. If I break free, will I find the truth? Or will I disappear like everything else? When the stars grant a wish, what do they take in return?
