Aebelle blinked in confusion as she arrived at the edge of a vast, snowy landscape, the cold air nipping at her cheeks. As she took in the breathtaking sight of towering mountains and frost-covered trees, a sudden commotion snapped her from her awe. A terrified horseman raced past her, pursued by men in blue cloaks, and before she could comprehend the situation, she was caught in the chaos.

Moments later, she found herself captured alongside Lokir, the desperate horse thief, and dragged before the imposing figures of Ulfric Stormcloak and General Tullius. Accused of being a Stormcloak rebel despite her protests, Aebelle was struck unconscious, only to awaken bound in a wooden cart heading toward a grim fate-execution in the town of Helgen.

With fear gripping her heart, Aebelle struggles to understand her predicament, surrounded by warriors fighting for a cause she knows nothing about. As the cart creaks toward its destination, the weight of her situation becomes clear: she has been thrust into a war-torn land where allegiances determine survival. And as the looming shadow of Helgen draws near, an even greater force waits to reshape her fate forever.All Rights Reserved

Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

After freeing herself from the grip of a feared warlock and wandering through the woods for months, Bea is captured by an Imperial ambush and sentenced to death. Her execution is interrupted by a dragon attack and thus, her journey starts. Having survived such deed she is sent to Whiterun, the closest city, where her furious temper and wild essence get her in trouble. She's done following orders and being in captivity. So she flees looking for herself. Follow Bea, a female antihero, as she unravels her survival journey through the vast and harsh land of Skyrim. Based on the video game Skyrim, this story touches upon multiple quests and situations that occur in the game, however, on some occasions things will happen differently for narrative and creative purposes. Character names, places, and lore belong to Bethesda Game Studios. Beware, as the story touches on sensitive topics (privation of liberty, murder, assault, and so on) and includes graphic language of violence and sexual situations. The Song of Deirdre Part I by lhogue

Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.
