This short story is inspired by what I saw lately on instagram and other social media related to Good Omens' season 3 and its BTS, particularly, my creative flair was stimulated by the page @tennantism on instagram (love that page with both my body and soul I swear-) (also posted on ao3!!)

In this one shot, Crowley's still dealing with the sense of emptiness that seems to be haunting him ever since Aziraphale left him for Heaven.
While he tries to handle his contrasting feelings, something unexpected happens.

Someone, a familiar face enters the bookshop, and meets his gaze.

And perhaps, this time a nightingale might be singing in Berkley Square.All Rights Reserved

A very short (5 chapter) Aziraphale's x Crowley story. It doesn't really have an ending and it was originally in my oneshots book for these two. "Bandages need changing", he mumbles, eyes fixed firmly on his working hands. "No. I meant-" He can hear as Aziraphale swallows. "Why do you care for me?" It isn't just 'why do you take care of me'. It's 'why do you still care at all'. Crowley has to close his eyes for a second, makes sure Aziraphale doesn't see. "Cause you're here", he says, voice carefully detached, "and you're hurt, and you need someone. And that someone's gotta be me." "Why?" He won't answer that. He can't answer that. "Don't ask stupid questions." ~oOo~ Or, the one where Heaven punishes Aziraphale the only way they know how, Crowley is there to help pick up the pieces, and maybe they can build something new and much more beautiful from both their broken shards. Warning for blood and injury, aftermath of physical violence, drinking as a coping mechanism, symptoms of depression - heed the tags!

This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Those had been the words he spoke, and he couldn't take them back now. ~oOo~ Or, the one where Aziraphale realises he needs to ask Crowley's forgiveness this time. Meanwhile, Crowley is just trying to make the Bentley stop playing Taylor Swift.

Aziraphale begins to question the Great Plan and its purpose on love. According to this, a demon and an angel aren't made for each other. When Crowley finally shows up at his bookshop and tries to confess his feelings for the angel, he breaks up. Leaving an angry demon and a very sad angel. Not knowing what they gonna do. Little do both of them know that these weren't exactly the commands from God herself...

That's just how I work. 1) I'm Set Free: Aziraphale finds himself distracted by a certain demon, and Crowley finds out that he likes having his hair touched 2) This Thing Called Love: Love is in the air and so is frustration. Crowley gets upset and takes a five-day nap, waking only to hang out with Aziraphale and visit The Them [I have never seen titanic it has nothing to do with it] 3) Champagne?: Crowley is dining alone tonight when he gets some company from a stranger he wishes would leave him be 4) Aziraphale Loves: Aziraphale is a lover many things in life, books, good wine, Crowley, wearing sensible shoes, people, but Aziraphale also loves food, and he just happens to have a poorly timed craving for crepes. 5) Crowley Shrugged: The pair had been talking and sipping expensive wine, during their conversation they had started talking about wings and flying, then Aziraphale had stated that he hadn't used his wings in a few hundred years, which had bewildered Crowley 6) Tight Pants: Aziraphale and Crowley go out to dinner and Aziraphale gets jealous when someone invites Crowley back to their flat. Snake!Crowley and wings 7) just an announcement 8) dancing in the rain: Dancing in the rain isn't always ideal, even though it's always quite romantic. A little boy pointed and said 'look, mummy, they're in love' this made Crowley smile and wave at the boy (I've run out of room)
