It was a tragic day in Earth's history, in a desperate attempt to save the universe from being destroyed by an unknown threat every major hero on earth made the ultimate sacrifice. However they did not leave this world with nothing left behind, many heroes had time to form bonds and have children and now it will be up to those children to save people and stop threats.

After all it's always the same threats, different heroes.
