Thorne intercepted the security guard before he could hand over the lottery money. She had spoken with this particular security guard on more than one occasion about making sure that only authorized personnel handled the lottery money.
She smiled at the blonde, her name was some type of flower wasn't it? Rose maybe. She nodded at Rose, letting her know that it was okay for her to leave, and she'd deal with getting the lottery money to Wilson.
This wasn't part of her job, but technically she was authorized personnel, so she headed to the lift.
Unfortunately, there seemed to be some issues with the basement.
First, there was no Wilson to be found.
Second, somehow a flash mob of people dressed as mannequins were hanging out in the storage room.
Third, there was a big eared man telling her to run and he seemed to have a handholding thing.
Well, at least she acquired a decent crowbar, after the night's odd events.

Don't run from me (Book 3)
I leaned back against the wall "It's been so long hasn't it?" "Yes, it has... I think the last time I saw you was high school graduation." "Exactly, and I waved at you and was making my way to you but you had disappeared." "Oh, I..." she looked around as if looking for an escape making me smile. She was so adorable. "Hey, it's okay" I chuckled "Don't worry about it. I just always wondered why you kept running from me throughout high school. It was hard keeping up with you, to be honest." Her smile faded and she just shrugged before leaning down to pick up her things "Well, it was nice seeing you again Mr. Walton." "Mr. Walton? Where did that come from?" "It seems we'll be working together now, it's only fair I call you Mr. Walton. It wouldn't be appropriate otherwise." I frowned standing up "Are you running from me again?" After a harsh breakup, Mason Walton's life changed upside down. Instead of being the considerate boyfriend he always was, he became the biggest playboy of all time. He wasn't particularly proud of it, it just was a way to keep his mind off of Celine who shattered his heart in pieces without a care in the world. Are all the one-night stands working? Is he forgetting about Celine? What happens when the playboy runs into his all-time high school crush Katrina Johnson just before a very important meeting? ******* AN: None of the places and characters are real Daily update🥰Complete

Lucas was beyond annoyed. "Why'd you press that button?" He said, angrily. "It was an accident." "Well, we're stopped now. You pressed the stopping button." "Ok...can you undo it?" "Do I look like elevator maintenance?" "Fine!" She said with the same tone, as she pressed the red button on the elevator key. She assumed that the red button was for elevator maintenance. "What are you doing?!" Lucas exclaimed. "What?" "You just pressed the fire button. Now the fire department is going to show up!" "Well, how am I supposed to know?! I thought it was the help button." All of her tiredness went away in the heat of the moment. "Maybe open your eyes and read what it says." "Open my eyes?!" She was livid, so she let him have it. "I had two hours of sleep last night! Two! Because someone decided that they want to have a nightclub in their pent house...in the middle of the night! Oh and to add on that...I've been at work for the past eighteen hours! Eighteen! So don't start telling me to open my eyes and read what it says when you're the reason I am so sleep deprived and making mistakes!" Lucas just stared at her with a straight face and asked in the most serious tone, "Are you normal?"Complete

Unwanted Wedlock
''Let me help you, ma'am,'' a man who was probably the flight attendant said. Damn. Ryerson Reeds even had handsome flight attendants. The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? Reeds stopped taking the two parts of the seat belt in his hands, ''you couldn't do this without help?'' he muttered to her savagely. Lyla glared at him, before he could even get the belt close to her she took it from his hands and snapped it in the right place. She gave him a sickly sweet smile and Reeds simply scoffed and walked to his seat. The rest of the plane ride was quiet. One would think after that small exchange they would start having some kind of conversation. Wrong. ___________________ This isn't a cliche story where the girl falls for the guy by a simply little gaze. She's stubborn, she's maybe a little relatable, and she's assertive. But she didn't think she was for him. Lyla Vell; the name itself oozed the confidence which was her, and Ryersoon Reeds? Two words to describe him: Arrogant and plain painful. And when these two personalities are in an arranged marriage. Shit about to go down. ___ This is my first Wattpad story. Hope you'll like it! This entire story is NOT mature. Only the last few chapters are and you can still finish the plot without reading those few mature chapters. For those who are hesitant to read the story because it is tagged mature, I'm promising you only the last few chapters are mature, you can read chapters 1-19 without any disturbance of smut. That was for those who're hesitant. Love you. DON'T COPY MY WORK!Complete

"You can't do nothing for yourself?" She shakes her head while looking at her feet, "Look at me and answer me with your words." She slowly looks up, "N-No S-Sir." I walk pass her and she keeps her head down, "Don't just stand there, follow me. I'm taking you back, I didn't sign up for this. I was told to watch over a woman, but I wasn't told that the woman couldn't do anything for herself. Your basically a kid in a grown woman body." I look back at her from the corner of my eye and see a tear sliding down her face. "Are you crying? Why? You couldn't have gotten attached that quick." She keeps her head down and I groan, "Ugh, please stop crying." She wipes her face and sniffle, "Why are you crying?" "Because the old man promised me that you would take care of me. He lied to me, you're taking me back to that place." I throw my head back and close my eyes shut. By old man she means my father. "Okay, okay, okay.
