From a small age, Danny Miller has been abused by her father, who has a problem with drink and drugs. Her only escape was talking to her neighbour, Alex Evans, who steadily becomes her friend. It was Alex who introduced her to underground cage fights. Danny loved the adrenalin and soon became good at it. But, all good things have to come to an end sometime. On her sixteenth birthday, her father decided to pick up and move away from Alex, sure that he was a bad influence on Danny since she came home each night with bruised knuckles and scrapes that he didn't cause. But that won't stop Danny, a fighter to the core, from doing what she loves to do.
Only one person can.
Her mate.
But it's a one in seven billion chance of finding your mate.
Danny's not going to find her mate, especially not in the lonely town that her father forced upon her.
