I left to find myself, but instead, I met a stranger-someone new and unknown. Or maybe I'm just holding on to the memory of someone from my past. I wrote this poem to share what it feels like to be caught between moving on and still missing what was. It's about feeling saudade-this deep, quiet longing-and trying to open up to someone new, even when it feels hard. Am I ready to let go? Or am I just trying to fill a space left behind? Dating this stranger is my way of figuring it out. This poem is my way of being honest about the confusion, the hope, and the fear that come with loving and losing.

She had done something unforgivable. Put me in danger many times, almost ruined my dreams, made me believe that love exists between us but it was all a lie. A lie brought by her desperation for love that was once taken from her. And I don't want to sugarcoat her mistakes. She had done damage to me to the point that I felt like I was a compensation for all the pain she experienced in her past. She's taking it all on me. She became wicked and I couldn't recognize her. But then... maybe we're brought together so I could show her hope. That kindness and love isn't always linked on what is over. That she could move forward, forgive herself and make her realized that she doesn't always have to get back to the past to be love in the present. The past was only there to remind us of the road we took and not to torment us. Is it worth it though? Does she deserve my forgiveness after wrecking me? Does she deserve my love after all?
