Venom had always felt so helpless. Growing up, her parents chose her littermate, Hemlock, as their golden child and cast her aside. She never had her parents' support. Along with that, she didn't like her birth clan, WarClan, nor the way her father, Rattlesnake, ran the clan. But what could she do about it? Not liking the government of WarClan were the least of her troubles. The cats she'd once loved and cared for, the only cats that had ever made her happy, were no longer in her life. They'd been snatched away from her so quickly she barely had time to register it. And, of course, she had no control over it.
What could she do?
Well, Venom ran away. She ran away from every failed attempt at starting a new life, travelling farther and farther from her birthplace, chasing one thing: control. She wanted control. She wanted power. And it wasn't long before she'd do anything to get it.
