Shadow the Hedgehog has been gone for ten years, and if there was any hope of him coming back, it's long gone by now. Nobody talks much about it anymore, and even after all this time, nobody would be willing to.
This greatly inconveniences Cream when she tries to find the real reason her best friend was gone. How would she get anywhere if nobody gave her answers? How would she move on? Perhaps they don't know the reason themselves.
All this only made her more determined to uncover it all, to finally find closure after ten years, and to do that, she'd have to think like the mysterious hedgehog that Shadow was. Knowing him, that'd be a challenge, but she's adamant on finding out.
She wants to know why.
