Misa has hated men ever since her dad left her family. She uses her role as class president to rule Seika High, a formally all boys school, with an iron fist and keep the boys in line, causing them to hate and fear her. But only four boys know her secret, that she works at a maid cafe, three boys who didn't follow the dress code (also known as the idiot trio) and Usui, the most popular boy in school. All four boys go to her work everyday (which annoys her to death), but unlike the idiot trio, Usui truly cares about her going as far as jumping off the school to get a picture of them he won at the cafe to keep her secret safe. A while into his "stalking" Misa finally admitted to herself that new feelings for him have come. When at a festival Usui asks Misa a question that she can't even answer herself "what makes her like him?" It's a question even she wants answered, but what does make her like him when she hates all boys? Is it the fact that he "stalks" her, that he would do anything for her, or the fact that he is somehow different than the other boys at Seika?
