I so long to escape my mind, But forget you? I would rather die a/n: I was listening to haunted by beyonce which somewhat inspired me to write this. The cover image is from pinterest. I remember showing my friend this poem and she said it reminded her of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, hence the cover inspo.

[COMPLETED, BUT CURRENTLY BEING REWRITTEN] A red rose is love Pricking those who come too close A pink rose is friendship Tying two souls together in harmony An orange rose is passion Blossoming in Lust's foul hands A violet rose is courage Growing in Nature's Garden of Eden A black rose is death Lying gracelessly on the wooden casket Every one of them matches its color Like a military man in solitary line But a yellow rose is different It is not happy or kind A yellow rose is dying love Forever frozen in mid-bloom (poem written by Diana, not me :3) (cover picture isn't mine either, tho I'd be more than happy to give the owner credit or take it down)
