Teenage boy Evan Hansen has spent his whole life alone and hiding from the world, always stuck on the outside, never quite a part of things. His extreme social anxiety hinders his high-school experience and causes him to struggle to make friends. Alone and afraid, things can't get much worse for Evan. Will anyone reach out to him and help him to wave through that window...
Connor Murphy, depressed kid and lonely soul, can no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel and has pretty much given up. His parents hate him, his sister hates him, the whole school hates him (including the teachers), so what's even the point anymore? Depressed and defeated, Connor wonders if anyone would notice if he just disappears...
But what happens when against the odds, 2 lost boys find each other in the darkness. Will they grow closer, be there for each other, fall in love, and not give up. Can they stop each other from disappearing forever?
I am in no way trying to glorify anxiety or depression.
I make no claim and acknowlegde that the characters and world are not my own and give full credit to the original writers of Dear Evan Hansen. I no way am I trying to claim these characters as my own. Remember this is a fanfiction.
