Eric is stuck in a life he hates: he is lonely, his job is boring and unfulfilling, the best thing he has to look forward to is retirement. Except he's only twenty-five, and he just can't keep going like this until then. The only logical thing to do is to kill himself.
Except he decided that if he's going to die soon, he might as well enjoy himself a little in the meantime, so he makes a bucketlist and gives himself twenty days to work through it.
It turns out life is a lot more interesting when you have nothing to lose, and between shootouts, muggings, revenge, and more travel than he's done in his lifetime, he meets a man who sees him for who he is, and seems to like what he sees.
