Issei Hyoudou, a normal student at Kuoh Academy, wielded a Sacred Gear and held the title of Red Dragon Emperor-a respected warrior despite his perversion. With no further use for Issei, Dai struck him down, driving the Dragon Slayer Holy Sword, Ascalon, into his chest, seemingly killing him. But fate had other plans. From the depths of despair, Issei awakened something... something demonic. A power so terrifying that even a Devil May Cry at its presence.
