One day Idina comes home and finds Taye in bed with James' wife. Idina wants a divorce but Taye feels he's done nothing wrong. Taye gets mad and takes it out on Idina and Walker. Taye forces little Walker to watch something that will change his life forever. When Taye has walked out of Idina and Walker's lives leaving them paralyzed with fear that he will come back, Idina feels she has nothing to live for anymore. When James comes to the rescue and picks Idina back up when she falls, helps Walker through his nightmares, and most of all is more of a father to Walker than Taye ever was or would be, Idina can't help but wonder of she's falling in love with him.
