Matt Sturniolo has been in a foster home for as long as he can remember. On that one, unfortunate day, his name was called for the children who would be going to foster homes. He was assigned the Dupont family, whom were French.
They were said to be very nice, and if he was as oblivious as the staff he'd bet his whole life on that. But once he reached their house, all hell broke loose. They were terrible people. Turns out they didn't even like him, they were merely in it for the money.
Matt soon starts to feel a deep longing for something, is it a person? Perhaps just a feeling of his imagination. Or is it just a longing to get out of that hell hole?
One fateful day when he crosses paths with two other men, he realizes he's found the people he's been longing for. But what'll happen when the police eventually get involved? What'll happen when things start to get worse before they get better?
Will he ever be free? Or will he have to live his whole life in misery.
