All Max wanted was to smile, he felt lot of joy all the time but he could never show it. Kids would call him a freak even his own parents looked at him with disgust. As soon as he was 18 they kicked him out. He moved to a place called Sunny Shore, a little village on the coast of Washington. But ever since he got there e has felt like someone was watching him...closely. He started talking around trying to make friends and every time they ended a conversation they all said, "When you hear them cover your ears."
