Bethany and Scarlett were inseparable as kids. Constantly playing in the yard with Scarlett's older siblings and Bethany's cousins. At 13 years old, Beth lost her parents in a horrible car crash with a drunk driver and Scarlett and her family do their best to support them but Bethany couldn't pull herself out of the hole she was in.
Her Aunt and Uncle gained custody and thought a change of scenery from New York to LA would help her. For their sake, she pretended it did but being away from home just sunk in the fact that she would never feel like home ever again. She stopped talking to Scarlett completely but what happens when 23 years later she sees her again?
