**Book Two**
It's been two years. Two long and painful years since Ann committed suicide by jumping off that bridge. Luke fell into another severe depression keeping him locked away from society. After getting terrible news from his mom, he can't help but feel as if life truly does everything it can to make him feel unwanted.
With both boys just barely making it past graduation, Andy has to find a job to pay for his studies and help with the medical bills if he ever truly wants that future with Luke. He'll do anything to reach that goal, anything, which can be quite dangerous.
Together they'll have to face more than they thought possible, and new obstacles will be sure to test them. Bring in the mysterious new boy, who tries to steal Luke away with his undeniable charm, and life couldn't get more difficult for these two boys in love now could it?

A/N: This book is a sequel to 'Chains', if you haven't read Chains, you could find yourself confused about a lot of this story; I recommend reading Chains before reading Alpha, Not. *** Pete Danver, 29, is a former werewolf who is now human. His wolf abandoned him because of things he had done to their mate. He's lost his mate, his wolf and his pack and now he has to learn to live as a human without the abilities he is so accustomed to as a wolf and an Alpha. Left broken both mentally and physically from the losses, he's been taken in by the Full Moon pack led by Alpha Andrew, the head of the Werewolf Council. Can he pull himself back together and function as a normal human? Will he be able to accept everything he's done in the past and start a new life? --- Avery Brown is a 23 year old gay man who works at a small, family owned cafe/diner that has a good crowd of regular customers, especially the lunch crowd. He struggles with his self esteem due to a past filled with bullying to such an extent that all his friends had been driven away for fear for their own safety. Now his high school bullies have stumbled into his workplace and decided to pick up where they left off so many years ago. He's also met and begun dating the handsome, rugged individual named Pete Danver. Pete is an office worker on the same block as the diner. Pete's past may be too much for Avery to deal with as he's faced with choices he never dreamed he'd have to ever make. How did things become so complicated? What will he choose to do?

[[SEQUEL]] "Not Another High School Love Story" MUST be read first ▪️ *SYNOPSIS* After suffering a serious injury on the field and being forced to put his days of playing college football behind him, Brent Fox has his own story to tell. With the help of a familiar guidance counselor, a dimwitted best friend, and an increasingly distant boyfriend, Brent must learn to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of working part-time for family, the intimidating reality of life after graduation, and the forces that could very well keep him from getting that far--even if it means coming face to face with the biggest demons from his past. Falling from grace is never supposed to be easy, but with little more than a busted knee and failing grades, it seems the former golden boy can't escape the same, gnawing question: How the hell are you supposed to be happy when you lose everything you love? ▪️ *WARNING* ·Strong language ·Even gayer shit
