"Silence and Stolen Kisses"
Aria had never met anyone as infuriating as Adrian Blackwood. He was the embodiment of arrogance, all sharp smirks and deep, knowing eyes that always seemed to challenge her.
It all started when she transferred to his university and landed the top spot in the literature department-his spot. Adrian, the undisputed genius of poetry and prose, wasn't pleased. Their rivalry began with intellectual debates in class, but soon, it turned into heated arguments everywhere: hallways, the library, even the campus café.
And now, here they were, standing face to face in an empty classroom, the air between them thick with tension.
"Either you shut up," Aria snapped, her voice a mixture of exasperation and challenge, "or else I will make you shut up."
Adrian chuckled, stepping closer. "Oh? And how exactly do you plan to do that?"
She hadn't thought that far. But as she looked up at him, those stormy blue eyes daring her, an idea sparked.
Before she could talk herself out of it, she grabbed his collar, pulled him down, and kissed him.
For a moment, he froze. Then, his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her even closer. The kiss deepened, all their unsaid words melting into something far more intoxicating than arguments.
When they finally broke apart, Adrian smirked. "So, that's your strategy?"
Aria, breathless, shrugged. "It worked, didn't it?"
His fingers brushed against her cheek. "You know, if you wanted to kiss me, you could've just asked."
She rolled her eyes. "Shut up."
And this time, he kissed her.
