My attention shifted to him. I was drunk, but a thought crossed my mind. Something I would never do, though the temptation was there. Without Felicity attached to his hip, I found some hidden courage which I gained between my fourth or tenth shot. I couldn't recall.

My tongue glided against my lip before I placed my hands on his broad chest. He grasped my waist and his breath hitched when I leaned in closer to purr seductively in his ear. "Fuck you, asshole."

I stepped back and winked before I took Lexi's hand and led her out of the club.

"What was that?"

"I don't know. I'm so wasted."

"That was brilliant! You should have seen his face!"

A deep laugh escaped my mouth. "Haa! Well, it's not like we're going to see him again, right?"
