Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter have decided fifth year is going to be their year; the year everything falls into place for them both and the year they show the bullies they aren't afraid of them. Scorpius receives a prefect badge and Albus is going to join the Quidditch team, if Scorpius can just convince him that he should try out.
It's going to be the year everything works out for them, and if that means Scorpius keeping his huge crush on his best friend a secret, then that's just what he's going to have to do.
It's just a crush. He can get over it well before fifth year is over, can't he?

The Inevitable Fate
After defeating Delphi, Albus and Scorpius are back in Hogwarts, right in the middle of their fifth year. Things are wholly different, now. Scorpius and Rose are dating, walking hand-in-hand in the corridors and Albus cannot help but feel jealous of the two. The sweltering question was: why was he jealous? Some things, however, remained the same. The bullies. The prejudice. The uncertainty. But that wasn't the worst of it. Albus thought he could forget about the horrors of what had happened last year with Delphi, but after a sinister lesson orchestrated by a familiar face, it seems that the past has a firm grip on both Albus and Scorpius. People said our dads fell in love, but were kept apart by their parents. But dad said this wasn't true, and I believe him, I always have. He's not always right though. He also said that Scorpius Malfoy would be trouble, and I should stay away from him. But I stuck to him like glue and became his best friend instead. While his parents were away, we got to stay at his house, the famous Malfoy mansion. This story contains mainly Scorbus, with a little Wolf star hidden in there too- I couldn't bear to let them die in this version when they were so clearly married. Also I got the idea from my favourite fanfic ever, "three weeks at Malfoy Manor", (google it, it'll be the first to pop up it's really good, I promise).
