After a devastating tragedy, San Francisco native Emily Brennan makes the decision to pack up her life and leave everything behind. Accepting a new job offer in Hawaii, Emily tries to cope with her troubled past by staying under the radar and doing what she knows best: surfing. Since the age of 4, she has called the ocean her 'second home'. But what will happen when a chance encounter brings her in contact with a well-known surfer?
