A Choice Without Choices

Marinette Dupain-Cheng's obsession with Adrien Agreste leads her to make a terrible mistake at his going-away party, one that changes both of their lives forever. When the truth comes out, Adrien feels nothing but betrayal, and Marinette is forced to give up their child for adoption.

Stripped of her Miraculous by Master Wang Fu, abandoned by her friends, and sent to an all-girls private school, Marinette faces the harsh consequences of her actions alone.

Meanwhile, Adrien, emotionally broken, tries to give up his own Miraculous, believing heroism no longer matters. But as he prepares to leave for London, Master Fu reminds him that even fallen heroes must find the strength to rise again.
